Can I get a free boiler in BT13?

What schemes fund free boilers?
The Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme requires large energy suppliers to fund heating and insulation improvements for low-income households. What does free mean in practice?
Free means the boiler and installation are fully funded for qualifying households, so there is no cost to you. Not every applicant will receive a fully free boiler; for some households there may be a contribution depending on the scheme and installer. The installer will confirm exactly what is covered in writing before any work begins.
What type of boiler will I receive?
For gas-connected properties, a new A-rated condensing gas boiler is the most common replacement. For off-gas-grid homes or properties suitable for low-carbon upgrades, an air source heat pump may be offered instead. The installer will confirm what is appropriate for your BT13 property.
